I currently have Mass Mutual through my employer and I haven’t had any problems until now. On Jan 24, 2018, I called in regards to a hardship because I need to get my Husband a headstone.

The young lady said they covered it and I informed her that he passed away in 2016 and she said that was okay because it’s only for a headstone. I then filled out the hardship paperwork and faxed it in. Friday Feb 2, 2018, I was told they needed it to be itemized and they still needed the pages 2 and 4, mind you the date of death is on the headstone paperwork. I refaxed the information today Feb 5, 2018 to be told the hardship can’t honored due to the date of death.

I called back today and no supervisor was available( typical) to take me call but I could hold for one. So I held and the Rep refreshed me twice but then mi line was disconnected so now I’m pissed and really dislike the company now.

I should’ve been informed when I asked about this back in January or even this past Friday. This company is truly full of it and I only have them because my employer chose them.
